Over one weekend, a psychiatrist, a music teacher, a school teacher, an artist, a coder and a graphic designer met in Manchester to hang out and reminisce about our shared pasts over 30 years ago. Sounds like the start of an awesome joke right? It was definitely awesome and there was a lot of raucous laugher in the mix. It is incredible how we all just clicked as if no time had passed at all and amazingly, although most of us are hitting the big five oh next year (shudder) we can actually let it all hang out and act like 16 year olds.

Sharon, Danny, Nadine, Margaret and Natalie travelled up from the southern end of the UK to spend the weekend with Louise and her partner in the metropolis of Manchester. Louise lives in an amazing roomy Victorian house which boasts 4 levels, plenty of room for all of us to get lost in and her renowned pen collection. We went on a few sightseeing tram trips round and about Manchester, walked lots, imbibed plenty of G&Ts in a cute little garden area, got sunburnt and were fed incredibly well.

I recommend weekends like this for everyone’s souls, it’s well worth the effort!
